Flashing Reinstall Firmware Nokia X2 Dual SIM in Dead Mode

Unlike the Lumia series can reinstall the firmware in shutdown mode. use the Windows device software recovery tools. For Nokia series such as Nokia X platform, Asha, and Symbian Microsoft just released the Nokia Software recovery tool to reinstall the firmware in the live mode.

This leads to difficult Nokia phones official firmware download and install the firmware is turned off.

On the other hand, Nokia Data software package manager that prior to downloading firmware from Nokia server taken offline. it became an obstacle for older Nokia mobile phones. To reinstall the firmware in the mode of death we can still use Nokia Care Suite.

You do not worry I'm preparing firmware download link old nokia phones. gradually. My current Nokia X pltform prioritize which can be downloaded in Nokia Firmware

Above the title as a way to re-install the firmware nokia x2ds. In this way it could be for other nokia phones. We will use a Nokia Care Suite please downlod in Nokia Care suite latest Version .

1. The first step: download firmware go to Nokia Firmware
2. The second step download and install Nokia Care suite latest Version
3. The third step place the firmware file in the folder C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products \RM-1013
4. Run Nokia Care suite, select the product support tool for store 5- Click File - Open Product - Choose RM-1013(Nokia X2 Dual SIM)
5. Click programming at left bottom menu - Recovery. On properties it will detect firmware on the step no 3.
6. click start for Verifying data package manager
7. Go to Dead Mode flashing on Nokia X2DS Device : press Volume down + Power button for 5 second. its show Nokia Logo
8. connect to PC visa USB Cable and then click Retry.
9. Please wait until finish . make sure do not disconect USB cable for this proses. may be hard damage your device.
10. Device will rebooted automatically after finish installation.

Caused by many asked where to locate the firmware files :

alternatively, you may create any foler example : D:\products\rm-1013 .locate all files firmware into it and then you must change the package download path by following these way:

Click File - Preferences - Data Package tab - click browse or add - choose the folder D:\products

Fix Intel (R) 6 Series / C200 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller- 1C26 Win 8.1

Sometimes outdated drivers or the latest version of Windows that can cause the device PC or laptop to be not working properly. and the driver does not recognize the system.

driver error could cause the failure of existing components on the pc. well this time I encounter a problem, not a functioning USB port. turned out to be an error message in the device manager that is a component of Intel (R) 6 Series / C200 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller- 1C26.

I click right on that, select update driver software - select Browse my computer for driver software - let me pick from a list from device drivers on my computer. Check the show compatible hardware. pilh one of the drivers in the list. if the error still select other drivers.

How to Update CyanogenMod 11 OTA On NOKIA X2DS RM-1013

At January 11, 2016 CyanogenMod 11 for Nokia X2DS release new update. Device has been installed it get notification update CM 11 20160111 unofficial Ara. This update maybe increase performance and fix some bugs.

As like title OTA is Over The air mean we can update through device. go to setting- about phone - CyanogenMod Update. tap  checking for update icon on rigth top if you don't activate cheking automatically. and then Tap download and install at update list item.

Don't forget to activate internet data connection for download ROM. Installation also need TWRP Custom Recovery V 2.8.1.0 . if. download finished tap install it. the phone will restart and go to Custom recovery and start installation progress.

If Installation Failed. You can reinstall it manually without download again. for install manually please go to Install Custom ROM CM 11 On Nokia X2DS RM-1013. The ROM which is downloaded is at folder  SDcard/cmupdater  in internal memory. Remember, for Update do not need wipe anything. you have to install it directly.

How to Lock 3G / WCDMA Only On CyanogenMod 11

On Default setting of CyanogenMod 11. We can not find to lock 3G Only Mode. but its 3G Preferred Network. If we use Preferred Network 3G, the network signal will switch to GSM when 3G Signal is lower. It also can cause internet data connection not responding and very slowly speed. The batteries can be wastefull. because its always search strongest signal.

I think Lock 3G setting is veri important in  low 3G signal area. its about lower than 50 %. so the internet will not disconnection and the speed will stable without not responding. and the most important is we can save the batteries. because its not always search the strongest signal.

How to ;
1. Go tho Call phone
2. tap *#*#4636#*#* and then tap phone informationm
3. scroll down. and choose WCDMA Only on set preferred network.

Install Custom ROM CM 11 On Nokia X2DS RM-1013

Microsotf has been stoped release Nokia X platform OS which used nn Nokia X2DS. Some Developers have been hard working to Develop Open Source Custom ROM CyanogenMod 11 available for Nokia X2DS. its ARA-Codename (Nokia x2DS) DUALSIM SUPPORTED.

Quoted by Xda Developer forum, CM 11 M12 is stable version. No Bugs and all funtion is working properly.

1.  Install CWM recovery 6.0.5.1 or TWRP recovery 2.8.1.0 ( recommended).
2. cm-11-20160404-UNOFFICIAL-ara.zip and then copy it to SD card
3.  Download Micro Gapps 4.4.x .zip. and then copy it to SD Card.
4. Enter to Recovery Mode ( Switch off the phone,  press power + Volume Up  for 5 second) or type number 6 and then Press ENTER with Nokia Recovery Installer 
5. Wipe data, Wipe cache , Wipe dalvik cache , system. tap back
6.   flash ROM  :  Install Zip from SD card. Choose Download cm-11-20160404-UNOFFICIAL-ara.zip swipe to flash wait until finish.
7. Flash Gapps.zip : intsall - install zip from sd card and select Micro Gapps 4.4.x .zip. swipe it to flash. wait untill finish
8. Please reboot.

There are many reasons to re-install the firmware Nokia X2DS . Maybe some of too many users install the application and the number of junk files that pile up , causing a decrease in performance of the phone and show an error message .

TWRP is Open source recovery system on Android base. we can install third party firmware or Custom ROM and also backup and restore system. how to install it On Nokia X2DS RM-1013?

1. Download Advanced Nokia X2 Tool V5.20 by Ali Beyaz aka Symbuzzer @xda
2. connect device Nokia X2DS to PC Via USB cable and make sure you have been activate USB Debugging
3. Run Advance Nokia X2 Tools and then click first option to install driver
4. click second option go to ADB menu and then klik Install Custom recovery
5. click install TWRP V2.8.7.0.2
6. please wait until device rebooted.
7 Finish. for check you can continue to click reboot recovery for go to recovery mode

Install Custom Recovery TWRP V2.8.1.0 On Nokia X2DS

TWRP V2.8.1.0 is one type of custom recovery system on Android devices. one reason me installed it On NOKIA X2DS, we can upgrade version of android via custom ROM which created by other developer.

TWRP V2.8.1.0 is support Kitkat Custom ROM Such as Cyanogenmod 11. I will write about it later so stay with teknokia.blogspot.com.

How to:

•  Download and extract NOKIA X2DS Recovery Installer 
• Run start.bat.
• type 1.and then press ENTER for install driver
• Activate USB Debugging on device and  connect it via USB Cable
• type 4 and then press ENTER for Install  TWRP V 2.8.1.0
• Please wait untill device reboot
• Finish and then Type 7 and then press ENTER go to Recovery Mode
